We Congratulate and Welcome Emily Handford
Emily Handford has joined the firm as an Associate lawyer. Emily’s work will complement this firm’s practice in the areas of Family Law, Civil Litigation, Mental Health, and Wills and Estates.
After growing up in Fort McMurray, Alberta, Emily attended the University of Alberta where she completed the Honours Psychology Program and received her Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours in Psychology. Emily continued her studies at the University of Alberta Law School where she was actively involved in student government and with Pro Bono Students Canada. She received her law degree in 2010.
Prior to joining the firm Emily spent two summers working for Alberta Justice in their family law department and articled with the corporate law firm Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP in Calgary, Alberta. Emily was called to both the Alberta and Ontario bar in 2011.
